Marieke Severens Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in the heart of the Jekerkwartier district. The gallery represents a selection of artists with diverse styles and backgrounds, ranging from emerging talents to established names.
Since 2024, the focus has been on works on paper, but the exhibitions change regularly and showcase a wide range of contemporary art forms. You will find drawings, collages, prints and other paper-based works that invite you to look, ask questions and reflect.
The gallery was born out of the passion of founder Marieke Severens, who previously started the PontArte art initiative and has an international background in museum work and art dealing. That experience is reflected in the care with which artists are presented and supported.
You are welcome to visit exhibitions during opening hours (usually Thursday, Friday, and Saturday), or by appointment. The changing presentations ensure that every visit offers something new.
